JEE Main 2021 to be held in 13 regional languages this year
As per the last year's details, below is the exam pattern. This year, JEE main 2021 exam is changed. It is expected JEE Advanced 2021 pattern will also be modified.

Apart for IITs, below listed institutes accept the JEE Advanced 2021 scores
Only candidates who qualify the JEE Mains 2021 will be able to appear for JEE Advanced. Students should send the JEE Main 2021 application before the last date.
Earlier JAB said, "To ensure equal opportunity to all, the JAB has also decided that these candidates will not have to qualify JEE (Main) 2021 and will be allowed to directly appear in JEE (Advanced) 2021 on the basis of their successful registration to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2020. This relaxation of existing eligibility criteria will be in addition to proportionate relaxation of age bar."
Unlike JEE Main, JEE Advanced is conducted only one time. In 2021, the JEE Main number of attempts is increased to four. The education minister will also discuss the number of attempts in his live session, to be held at 6.
Students also demand a provision of 3rd attempt for 2019 pass out students. Most of them were unable to appear for JEE Advanced in 2020. It is expected that because of so many related queries of students, this concern will also be addressed in Education minister live today.
As per the JEE Main 2021 brochure, candidates must pass the Class 12 board exams with at least 75% aggregate marks (65% mark for SC, ST, and PwD) or be in the top 20 percentiles to get shortlisted for JEE Advanced 2021. This 75% marks criteria was scrapped in 2020 as many state boards have canceled the 12th class exams.

In 2020, IIT Delhi conducted the JEE Advanced exam wherein a total of 160838 students registered out of which only 150838 appeared for the exam. Total 43204 students qualified the JEE Advanced 2020.

Students demand to modify the IIT admission criteria in 2021. This year, all the classes were held virtually. Hence, students are concerned about their 12th standard score. They asked to remove the minimum 75% marks criteria to appear for JEE Advanced 2021.

Top 2,50,000 JEE Main qualifiers are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2021. Besides, candidates need to obtain a minimum of 75% marks in Class 12 to get admission in IITs. Aspirants have only two attempts to appear for JEE Advanced.
