ESIC Final Result 2018 Announced for SSO; 535 Candidates Selected

NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 21: Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has released the final merit list for the post of Social Security Officer/Manager Gr-II/Superintendent. A total of 535 candidates have been shortlisted for the final recruitment. The result has been announced on the basis of candidates combined performance in the Mains Exam and Computer Skill Test and Descriptive Test which was held on December 15, 2018 and January 13, 2019 respectively.
Candidates can check their result by visiting the official website of the exam conducting authority - https://www.esic.nic.in/ and click on the final result PDF. ESIC result PDF contains the registration number, roll number and name of the qualified candidates, category and selection category. The result PDF also contains the remarks for those candidates whose result has been withheld due to not having submitted the ‘No Objection Certificate’ (NOC).
Along with the names and details of the qualified candidates, the result PDF also contains the final cut off marks. The authority has released the section wise and overall cut off marks wherein the highest cut off marks has been registered for the unreserved category - 149.80 while the lowest cut off marks is for PWD Category B (HI) - 94.66 out of a total of 100 marks.
ESIC 2018 exam was held for the recruitment of Social Security Officer/Manager Gr-II/Superintendent. The exam was held in three phases - prelims, mains, and computer skill test and descriptive test. The authority had announced a total of 539 vacancies. However, only 535 candidates got shortlisted for the final recruitment.
