FDDI 2019: Exam date clashes with Lok Sabha polls

NEW DELHI, MARCH 11: The election commission of India has announced the Lok Sabha poll dates which will be held in seven phases. However, on May 19, polling will take place in certain constituencies in few states and on the same day Footwear Design and Development Institute had earlier announced that FDDI entrance exam would be conducted on May 19. Students are in a dilemma whether the institute will change the date or will it keep it same.
The application process for admission to FDDI had begun from January 10 and the last date for filling it is April 20.

FDDI conducts the entrance exam for Bachelor programmes in Footwear Design & Production, Production and Management and Retail & Fashion Merchandise, Leather Goods and Accessories Design and Fashion Design. The entrance exam will be offered at 12 of its campuses.
