FDGE 2020 admit card released at nbe.edu.in; check steps to download

NEW DELHI: National Board of Examinations (NBE) has released the Foreign Dental Graduate Examination - FDGE admit card 2020 for December session. Candidates whose applications have been accepted till last date can download FDGE 2020 admit card from the official website - nbe.edu.in. FDGE screening test will be conducted on December 4, 2020, across test centres located only in Delhi. The admit card includes the details of the candidate, exam centre allotted, and the reporting time. Candidates have to paste their passport size photograph on the FDGE hall ticket. The result for FDGE 2020 will be announced on December 20 on NBE website.

FDGE is a screening test conducted for dental graduates who are Indian citizens and overseas citizens of India. Candidates who qualify the FDGE screening test will get registered with the Dental Council of India (DCI) or State Dental Council (SDC). Indian and OCI candidates who have completed their Bachelors in Dental Surgery from a recognised institution outside India are qualified to appear for FDGE.

How to download the FDGE 2020 admit card?

  • Visit the official NBE website - nbe.edu.in.

  • Click on FDGE 2020 tab

  • Login using application number and date of birth

  • Download FDGE admit card December 2020

  • Check and verify the details

  • Take three to four printouts of hall ticket

FDGE hall ticket 2020 - photograph to be uploaded

After downloading the FDGE admit card candidates are required to paste their coloured passport size photograph on the admit card. The specifications of the photograph are as follows:

  • Size: The photograph size should not exceed the size of the box designated for attaching the photograph. Minimum size of the photograph is 35x45 mm.

  • Colour: The photograph should be coloured but the background must be white.

  • Quality: The photograph should have at least 600 dpi resolutions.

  • Red eyes: Candidates must ensure that the photograph does not have any reflection, shadow, or red eyes.

  • Candidates should avoid wearing any accessories, headwear, and ornaments in the photograph.

  • Photo ID card such as PAN card, driving license, passport, aadhar card, or voter ID card.

Items prohibited from carrying inside FDGE test centre

  • Electronic devices: Mobile phones, earphones, bluetooth, calculator, watches are not permitted inside the test centre.
  • Accessories: All forms of jewellery items and accessories such as wallets, caps, belts, and goggles, are not allowed.
  • Stationery: Pens, paper, geometry boxes, plastic pouch, etc. all are banned.
  • Food items: All food and beverages, whether packed or unpacked are prohibited inside the exam hall.

What after FDGE 2020 exam ?

After conduct of FDGE 2020 exam on December 4, 2020, NBE will announce the FDGE result on December 20. Candidates who score a minimum of 50% in each paper will be declared “pass” in FDGE 2020. Qualified candidates will be called for viva-voce examination. The viva test will be of 50 marks and candidates who score 25 and above will be considered qualified.
