FIIB invites applications for fellow programmes in management; apply by June 15

NEW DELHI: Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB) New Delhi has commenced the admission process for its AICTE-approved flagship doctoral programme, which is the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM). Interested candidates can apply for the FIIB FPM programme by June 15, 2024, through the official website, admissions.fiib.edu.in.

As per the official press release, the FPM course is designed to cater to the research and academic needs of individuals aspiring to advance their careers in teaching, research, or the corporate sector with an advanced research degree in management. It is a full-time course with a duration of three years.

The institute said that there's no prior work experience is required to apply for this programme but candidates are required to meet the programme's academic requirements. The institute is also providing financial support to candidates. Scholars will receive Rs 40,000 per month in the first year, Rs 45,000 per month in the second year, and a significant Rs 50,000 per month in the third year.

To apply for the programme, candidates are required to submit some documents including an application form, an updated CV, a 3000-word research proposal, a motivation letter, and a research aptitude test score. Additionally, candidates will undergo a personal interview as part of the application process.

FIIB Admissions 2024: Application requirements

Candidates should fulfil the following application requirements, before applying for the FIIB FPM programme.

  • Candidates should hold a master’s degree or its equivalent in engineering and technology, management, economics, social science, biological science, pure science, commerce, or humanities with a minimum of 60 per cent marks or equivalent grade points from a university recognised by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Or

  • Candidates should have a five-year integrated master’s degree in business administration, tourism management, business economics, commerce, or allied domains related to business and management with at least 60% marks or an equivalent grade point from an institution recognised by AICTE. Or

  • A graduate degree with professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretary (CS), and Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICWA). Or

  • Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade point average can apply. Candidates who are in the final year of their engineering degree are also eligible to apply.

Candidates should have a valid score in the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or National Eligibility Test (NET) by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), or in Common Admission Test (CAT), Management Aptitude Test (MAT), Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA), or Research Aptitude Test (RAT) conducted by FIIB.
