Final Day: JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 - Live Updates

NEW DELHI, JANUARY 12: NTA is conducting the final day of JEE Main 2019 paper 1 on January 12. After the four long days of examination, engineering aspirants who are allotted the final two shifts of the January session will attempt the national engineering exam today. The previous sessions of JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 were moderately difficult in nature so the expectations for this today's exam is the same. 9,29,198 candidates have registered for Paper I which is being conducted in 467 centres. Afternoon Session

5:30 PM- Exam Concludes
2:30 PM- Exam Commences
2:17 PM - Candidate arrived late. Requesting to open the gate

2:15 PM - Gate closed

2:10 PM: Guard said that the gate will be closed at 2:15 PM

1:28 PM - Guard is asking the parents to leave from the front of the gate. He is requesting them to make a clear way for the candidates.

1:22 PM - One of the candidates came at the wrong gate. Guard is telling him the correct way.

1:18 PM - Candidates are mostly nervous. They are entering the exam centre slowly.

12:57 PM - Candidates are standing in a queue for frisking and other verification

12:52 PM - Gates open for the afternoon session of the examination

12:39 PM - Overcrowding because of students leaving and arriving at the exam venue

12:19 PM - Students start arriving for the second session

Forenoon Session

12:30 PM - Exam for Forenoon session is over

12:17 PM - Parents waiting for the exam gate to open

9:30 AM - Exam has commenced

9:19 AM - Student arrives. Guard allows the candidate to enter

9:15 AM - Gate closed

9:07 AM - Gates will be closed at 9:15, announced guard

9:00 AM - Guard announces that gates are about to close

8:01 AM - Guard announce that only metro card and money can be taken inside

7:56 AM - Candidates are lining in a queue for entry

7:54 AM - Guard asks parents to move aside and not block the gate

7:30 AM - Gate open

7:23 AM - Security is very tight today. One of our camera people is not allowed to take pictures. Phone snatched and all taken pictures deleted

7:04 AM - Students start arriving at the test centre.
