NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 24 - FTII Successfully conducted Joint Entrance test (JET) 2019. In the first session , the exam was  held for film wing courses, while in the second shift the exam was conducted for television wing courses. Students found the paper moderately difficult. Candidates  were able to complete the exam within the stipulated time and it was on the lines as was officially mentioned in the exam scheme.

The JET exam second session for TV wing courses was conducted for 3 hours and the total marks allotted was 100. The total questions asked in the test was 36, which was paper number 10 to 15. The question paper was divided into three sections- Section A,B,C. The types of questions in section A of JET 2019 consists of general awareness and questions related to television, electronic and digital media while in section B exam takers had to answer long descriptive questions. In section C, students answered short descriptive / objective / pictorial questions.


What after JET 2019?

The result of JET 2019 will be announced on April 22. Both SRFTI and FTII will release the list of candidates shortlisted for the selection process. The shortlisted candidates will receive emails regarding the interview call letter from the respective institutes. Candidates who will get through the entrance test will have to undergo the selection process, which includes interview, orientation, medical test and verification of documents. Students must note that JET score will be valid till December 31, 2019.
