NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the GAT-B application form 2022 online, on its official website dbt.nta.ac.in. Along with the release of the GAT-B 2022 registration form, the authorities have also released the information bulletin and exam dates.
Interested candidates can apply for GAT-B 2022 from March 11 to 31.
According to the released dates, GAT-B 2022 will be held on April 23, 2022 from 9 AM to 12 PM, in computer-based mode (CBT).

As per the official information bulletin, the GAT-B 2022 will be conducted for 3 hours and the question paper will be divided into two sections - section A will contain (Multiple choice questions of 10+2 level: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology) while section B will contain (Multiple choice questions of Graduate/Bachelor’s level in the subjects: Basic Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology and allied areas). Out of 160 questions, candidates need to attempt at least 120 questions in GAT-B 2022.
Section A - Each correct answer will fetch one (1) mark. There will be negative marking and for each wrong answer, half (1/2 or 0.5) marks will be deducted.
Section B- Each correct answer will fetch three (3) marks. There will be negative marking and for each wrong answer, one (1) mark will be deducted.

Candidates will be assigned seats in GAT-B participating institutions 2022 based on their GAT-B scores and the number of seats available in the colleges. There are 1,127 seats in 62 PG courses available to candidates who pass the GAT-B 2022 exam.
NTA conducts Graduate Aptitude Test (GAT-B) annually for candidates who are interested in taking admissions to M.Sc Biotechnology and allied science programmes.
