New Delhi, February 10: IIT Madras has successfully conducted the GATE 2019 CE paper in morning and afternoon shift today. The CE paper held today was last paper of GATE 2019. All papers of GATE 2019, including the newly added Statistics had been conducted in online mode on February 2, 3, 9 and 10 across various test centres in India and abroad. The result of GATE 2019 will be released on March 16. IIT Madras has also released the student response sheets for papers held on February 2 and 3. The response sheets for papers conducted on February 9 and 10 will also be released by IIT Madras anytime soon. IIT Madras will also release answer key for all the papers which will let students to calculate their score. Many coaching institutes have also released the memory based question papers and their analysis to help students get an idea about the exam and cutoff. As per the recent updates from subject experts, the CE paper held in morning shift was moderate in difficulty and cutoff could range anything between 26-29 marks.
GATE exam is one of the most sought after engineering exam which is taken by thousand of students every year. GATE score is used by IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and many other institutes for admitting students in PG and research programs in engineering. GATE qualified students who pursues research or Masters course are also provided with stipend and annual contingency grant by the Indian government. The GATE score is also used for the purpose of recruitment by many PSUs like BHEL, ONGC, BARC. Many privately held organizations also offers lucrative salary packages to GATE qualified candidates.
