GATE 2019 Result to be declared on March 16 at gate.iitm.ac.in

New Delhi, March 14: Indian Institute of Technology will declare the result of GATE 2019 on March 16. The result of GATE 2019 will be declared in online mode for all the 24 papers. The GATE 2019 exam was conducted on February 2, 3 and 9, 10 across various test centres in India and abroad. Papers for all the 24 subjects were conducted in complete online CBT mode for which as many as 8 lakh students have appeared. GATE result will carry marks secured by the candidate along with the rank of the candidate. Students who score minimum qualifying mark as decided by the exam conducting authority will be declared qualified. Students will also be able to download their scorecard which will carry all the information regarding category-wise cutoff, marks secured by the candidate in exam and all India rank. GATE qualified candidates become eligible to take admission in prestigious institutes like IITs, NITs, IIITs and other GFTIs for admission in M.Tech and research courses. Steps to view GATE 2019 result

  • Open the official website of GATE 2019 (gate.iitm.ac.in)

  • Click on the result section

  • Enter details as required in the login window

  • Click on submit button view result

Students can also view and download their scorecard after the declaration of result on March 16. The scorecard will be available for download till May 31 post which a nominal fee would be charged for downloading scorecards. GATE 2019 score card will be valid for a period of 3 years from the date of declaration of result. Students can find below the step by step guide to download their scorecard

Steps to download GATE 2019 scorecard

  • Open the GATE Online Application Process System (GOAPS) portal

  • Login using GATE 2019 enrollment number/email ID/Registration ID and password

  • Click on submit button to view the scorecard

  • Click on download button to download the scorecard
