GATE 2020 admit card to be released on January 3

New Delhi, December 28: Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) will be releasing the admit card of GATE 2020 on January 3. Registered candidates will be able to access the admit card through the GOAPS website after logging in using their GATE enrolment number/email ID and password. The admit card will not be made available in any other mode. GATE 2020 will be held on February 1, 2, 8 and 9.

Candidates will have to download and print out the generated admit card since it has to be produced at the examination centre. All of the details regarding the examination venue, date, timings and more will be released through the admit card. If any mistakes are found, the candidates are requested to contact their respective zonal IITs.

While reporting to the examination centres, the candidates will have to carry a valid identity proof along with the admit card. The following identity proofs will be accepted by the examination authorities:

• Aadhaar card

• Voter ID

• Passport

• PAN Card

• College ID

• Employee ID

• Driving License

About GATE

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or commonly known as GATE is an annual entrance examination which is jointly administered by IISc Bangalore and seven IITs. On the basis of GATE scores, the candidates can obtain qualification for M.E./M.Tech admissions and PSU recruitments.
