GATE 2020 answer key not released yet; to be available by February 19

New Delhi: IIT Delhi has not yet released the provisional answer key of GATE 2020. However, the authorities have released the dates for the challenge of the answer key. Candidates will be able to contest the provisional answer key from February 19 (11.00 am) to February 21, 2020 (6.00 pm). Since the challenge commences only after the answer key is released, as per the previous year trends, the same is expected to be released by February 19. Candidates will be able to challenge the answer key through the official website.
According to the details released by IIT Delhi, the candidates will be able to challenge the answer key through a module on GOAPS portal by paying Rs 500 per question. Candidates must ensure that they enter the correct question number as per the question paper released by the authorities, while challenging the released answer key. If the question is not identified correctly, then the challenge will not be considered. Also, if a candidate is uploading a complete document in support of his/her challenge, he/she must enter the correct page number/section number in the document. Also, if a challenge by a candidate is accepted by the authorities, his/her payment for challenge will be refunded.
GATE 2020 was conducted for 25 papers on February 1, 2, 8 and 9. The authorities have already released the response sheets of the candidates on February 12. Candidates will be able to use their response sheets and answer key to calculate their probable secured scores before the official result is announced on March 16, 2020.
