GATE 2020 authority releases list of candidates with defects in application form

The GATE 2020 authority has released lists of candidates whose application form are found incomplete. The GATE 2020 authority has further stated that all such students have to rectify their defects last by December 6 failing which their candidature is liable to be cancelled. Students can check the list from the official website of GATE 2020. The various categories under which defects have been found includes unavailability of proper eligibility certificates, category certificate and improper photograph and signature.
The lists is available under heads of photograph and signature, eligibility certificate and category certificates. The list mentions application number of candidates having defects. All GATE 2020 applicants must check the list for their application number and if found, must rectify the same within December 6. Students have to login to GOAP portal for making the necessary corrections.Students must note that if they do not rectify the errors within specified date, their application form is liable to be rejected.
GATE authority has earlier released the detailed examination schedule for all the 25 papers scheduled on February 1, 2, 8 and 9. The admit card for GATE 2020 will be available from January 3 on the official website.
Advisory to GATE 2020 Applicants
The GATE authority has found that certain students are receiving emails mentioning “GATE 2020 Authority tried to contact you response required for more details click on http://bit.ly/2moRuzB” which is FAKE. Students are advised not to fall prey to such fraudulent emails. GATE 2020 authority will never send such emails or messages and students must not respond to such messages/emails.
