GATE 2020 change in exam city, paper, gender and category to start after November 20

New Delhi, November 13: Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT Delhi) will be commencing the correction facility of GATE 2020 application form after November 20, 2019. Through this session of correction facility, the registered candidates will be able to change their examination city, paper, category and gender. The authorities have not announced the final date for the correction facility, therefore the candidates are advised to complete the required corrections as soon as possible.

For making the changes to the already selected exam city, paper, category and gender, the candidates will have to pay additional fees (if applicable). If the candidates are unable to pay the required additional fee, then the changes will not be accepted by the authorities.

To access the application form correction facility, the candidates will have to log in using enrolment number/email ID and password. A print out of the changed particulars can be taken for future use.

IIT Delhi has already started the correction facility for minor details such as name, father’s name, college name and more from October 15, 2019. Candidates can correct such details without payment of any fee in online mode.

About GATE 2020

GATE 2020 will be conducted on February 1, 2, 8 and 9 as a computer based test. The admit card of GATE 2020 will be released for the registered candidates on January 3. IIT Delhi has released the official mock test in online mode for all papers (expect Biomedical Engineering).
