Try NowNEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 16: IIT Delhi will be concluding the registration process of GATE 2020 on September 24, 2019. Candidates who have not yet filled the application form are advised to do so before the last date to avoid a last minute rush. The application form has to be filled and submitted to participate in the entrance examination for M.Tech admissions and PSU recruitment. However, the candidates will also be able to submit the application form of GATE 2020 until October 1, 2019 by paying the required late fee.
GATE 2020 registrations had started on August 31, 2019 and is being done through GOAPS i.e. GATE Online Application Processing System. The given steps can be followed to successfully fill the application form of GATE 2020.
Steps to fill GATE 2020 Application Form

Step 1: Registration through GOAPS – In the first step, candidates have to register by entering their basic personal details like name, mobile number, email ID and more. Once the candidate completes his registration, he/she will receive enrollment ID and password through email or SMS.

Step 2: Login to fill GATE Application Form- After receiving the enrollment ID and password, candidates have to login to GOAPS and fill the rest of the required details.

Step 3: Uploading of Necessary Documents- In this step, candidates have to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature as specified by the authorities.

Step 4: Preview of Filled Application Form- Once the candidates have completely fill their application form, they are given a window to preview and check the details entered by them.

Step 5: Payment of Fee- After this, the candidates have to pay the application fee of GATE 2020.

Step 6- Submission of Filled Application Form - The last step of the application process is submission of form. After the payment of fee, candidates have to click on “Submit” to finally submit their forms.

The admit card of GATE 2020 will be generated and released on January 3 for those candidates who register within the last date as specified by the authorities. Candidates will also be given an opportunity to make any corrections in their application form after September 24, 2019 but they have to make the corrections within the specified time allotted by the authorities.
About GATE 2020
GATE 2020 is being conducted by IIT Delhi for admission in various post graduate engineering programs offered by the participating institutes. The examination will be held on February 1, 2, 8 and 9, 2020 in computer-based mode.
