GATE 2021 registration to end tomorrow; applications to be accepted with late fee till Oct 12

NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology Bombay will be closing the GATE registration process tomorrow i.e., October 7. GATE 2021 registration will be available without late fee till 11:59 PM tomorrow. Candidates who wish to participate in GATE 2021 will be required to complete the registration process before the final date otherwise the admit card will not be generated. GATE 2021 registration link can be checked at the official website gate.iitb.ac.in.

However, the GATE application process will be open till October 12 with an additional payment of Rs. 500 as late payment. No further chance for registration will be given to the candidates after October 12.

To fill out the GATE application form, the candidates will have to register at the official website using their name, email ID, country of residence, mobile number. A password also has to be generated for future use. All of the required personal, academic and contact details has to be provided by the candidates. The required application fee has to be paid through net banking/credit card/debit card.

What after GATE 2021 registration?

The correction facility of GATE 2021 will be open from October 28. Candidates will be able to change their choice of category, exam paper and city during this period. Registered candidates will be able to download the GATE 2021 admit card on January 8. Since the admit card is an essential document required during the examination, the candidates will have to print it out and keep it safely. In case of any discrepancy in the admit card, the candidates are advised to immediately inform their authorities.

GATE 2021 will be conducted on February 5 to 7 and 12 to 14, 2021 for various papers. GATE scores can be used by the candidates for M.Tech admissions or PSU recruitments.
