Candidates who wish to apply for the GATE 2022 exam and have not applied yet, can submit the online application forms till September 28. Earlier, the GATE 2022 application last date without late fee was September 24.

The GATE 2022 registration link is available on the website - gate.iitkgp.ac.in. Candidates are advised to check the GATE 2022 eligibility criteria before applying for the entrance test. Students failing to meet the eligibility criteria will not be considered for the admission process.
How to fill GATE 2022 application form?

Visit GATE 2022 website - gate.iitkgp.ac.in

Click on the “GATE 2022 registration” link.

Fill the GATE 2022 form by entering the basic details like name, id, mobile number, password etc.

Upon submitting the details, OTP will be sent to the registered email id. Use the OTP to complete the GATE 2022 registration process.

Next, log into the GATE 2022 application form portal and fill all the required details.

Uploading of all the necessary documents also has to be done.

Finally, make the payment of the GATE application form 2022 in online mode.

GATE 2022 aspirants are required to update the Aadhaar Card or any other permissible photo identity proof (if it is not recent) to be used for applying and appearing for the entrance exam.

It is mandatory to scan and upload colour copy of photo identity proof in the GATE 2022 application form.

This year, the authorities have added Leh (Ladakh) as one of the exam centres. Students can select the preferred exam centre during GATE 2022 registration.

Students appearing in one or two papers should fill one application form.
GATE 2022 exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 5, 6, 12 and 13. Registered candidates will be able to download the GATE 2022 admit card from the website on January 3.
