NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc Bangalore) will conduct the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2024) on February 3, 4, 10 and 11. Candidates appearing for the GATE 2024 can download the admit card on the official website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in. The GATE 2024 is being held for admission into master and PhD programmes in IISc and Indian institutes of technology.
The IISc will conduct exams for 30 subjects. Each paper will have 65 questions, including 10 from general aptitude. The paper will have multiple-choice questions (MCQs), multiple-select questions (MSQs) and numerical-answer type (NAT) questions.Students will have to attempt the computer-based test in three hours.
Marking scheme
Each paper of GATE 2024 will be of 100 marks.

All of the questions will be worth 1 or 2 marks |
The MCQs will be of two types – one mark and 2 marks. In case of wrong response, 1/3rd marks will be deducted for one mark MCQs and 2/3rd marks will be deducted for 2 marks MCQs. There will be no negative marking for MSQs and NAT questions.
