The GATE 2026 registration extension comes in view of the requests submitted by the aspirants, even though the authorities said that no further extension will be provided while giving it for the first time.

Recently, IITG assured GATE 2026 aspirants that the exams will not clash with the Union Public Service Commission Engineering Services Examination (UPSC ESE) 2026 which is scheduled for February 8. This will result in changes in GATE exam date 2026 as some papers are scheduled for the same day.
Moreover, as per the latest update on GATE 2026 website, Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has said that it will be using GATE 2026 results of CE, CH, EC, EE, IN, and ME test papers for recruitment.
