GATE Result 2019 likely to be announced on March 15

New Delhi, March 15: The GATE 2019 result can be expected on March 15, one day in advance to the announced date by IIT Madras. The GATE 2019 result is anticipated to be announced on March 16 by IIT Madras. However, if we look at the recent past trends, GATE result in 2018, 2017 and 2016 have been announced earlier then the decided dates. The GATE result 2018 was declared on March 16 while the original date was 17, similarly, GATE result 2017 was declared on March 26 in contrast to the original date of March 27. So is the data for 2016 and 2015 when GATE result was declared one day in advance to the originally announced dates.
GATE 2019 result will be declared in online mode for all the 24 papers. The GATE 2019 exam was conducted on February 2, 3, 9 and 10 across various test centres for which around  8 lakh students appeared. GATE 2019 was conducted in completely online mode for all the 24 papers. Students will be able to view their result and download scorecard after the declaration of result.

  • Open the official portal of GATE 2019 at gate.iitm.ac.in

  • Click on the result section

  • Enter details like GATE 2019 enrollment ID and password

  • Click submit to view result

GATE Score Card

GATE score card will be available to download for all the students who qualify by securing the minimum cutoff mark as decided by IIT Madras. The scorecard of GATE will be valid for a period of three years from the date of declaration of result. GATE score card will contain information about the marks secured by a candidate, cutoff mark for all the categories and all India rank of the student. The GATE score card will be available for downloading up to May 31 after which a fee has to be paid towards downloading it. Students can find below the procedure to download scorecard

  • Open the Gate Online Application Processing System (GOAPS)

  • Login using GATE 2019 enrollment ID and password

  • GATE score card will be visible on the screen

  • Click on download button to download the GATE 2019 scorecard
     

Students who qualify GATE will become eligible to get admission in prestigious institutes like IITs, NITs, IIITs and other GFTIs. GATE qualified students are also recruited by many leading PSUs as graduate engineers with lucrative packages. GATE qualified students are also provided with a monthly stipend and annual contingency grants by MHRD, Govt of India for pursuing higher education in India.
