GCET 2020 results announced at dte.goa.gov.in; know steps to check

NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa has announced the GCET result 2020 in online mode. Candidates can check their result by visiting the official website at dte.goa.gov.in. The result has been released in the form of a pdf containing the subject wise score of candidates corresponding to their roll numbers. Thus, candidates do not need any separate credentials to access the same. Given below are the steps for accessing the GCET 2020 result:

  • Visit the GCET official website of DTE Goa at dte.goa.gov.in

    Apply to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Allied & Life Science 2024

    Applications for Admissions are open.
  • There is an announcement in the top bar that reads ‘GCET 2020 result declared’, click on it.

  • A pdf file shall open, download it.

  • The pdf contains candidate roll numbers for GCET exam along with the subject wise marks for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

  • The pdf does not contain the names of candidates, thus, they will need to search their roll numbers for checking their result through the pdf.

On the basis of marks obtained in GCET 2020, the authorities shall prepare a separate merit list which shall contain the names of candidates corresponding to the rank obtained by them. This GCET merit list will be the basis for counselling according to which admissions shall be made through the entrance exam.

While all other entrance examinations are being postponed amid the coronavirus pandemic, DTE Goa conducted the GCET 2020 exam on July 4 and 5. The authorities had also provided pick and drop facility to and fro the Goa border and accommodation facility in hostels for candidates outside Goa who were to commute via road.
