GPAT 2020 to be held on January 24; registration to begin from November 1, 2019

NEW DELHI, AUGUST 22- The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test- GPAT 2020 on January 24. Aspiring candidates can start registering for the exam from November 1, 2019. However, the application can be filled till November 30, 2019. These dates have been announced through an official notice released recently by NTA. As the exam dates are out, candidates aspiring for GPAT 2020 need to speed up their preparation for confirming their admission to M. Pharm courses in the top pharmacy institutes.
After filling the application form, registered candidates can download their admit cards from December 24 onwards, while the result of GPAT 2020 will be announced on February 3.

NTA Test Practice Centres
Along with releasing the schedule of GPAT 2020, NTA also announced for CBT (Computer-based test) practice centres. NTA has established various Test Practice Centres across the nation for familiarizing candidates with ‘Computer Based Test’ system. The facility is available free of cost from September 1, 2019 and candidates can have practice sessions every Saturday and Sunday. Candidates need to register for the same at nta.ac.in to experience the mock test before appearing in GPAT 2020.
Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test- GPAT 2020 is the entrance examination for admissions to various Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) programmes. There are more than 800 participating institutes which accept GPAT score. It may be noted that till 2018, AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) used to conduct this exam. But since 2019, National Testing Agency (NTA) took up the charge for conducting the entrance examination dedicated for M. Pharm admissions across India.
