NEW DELHI: Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) said that it has not announced the Gujarat Board Class 12 or GUJCET result date 2025 yet and clarified that the press release being circulated on social media platforms is fake.
The fake GUJCET, Gujarat Board Class 12 result date circular claimed that the results for the higher secondary certificate exam for GSEB Class 12 science stream students and the GUJCET exam will be announced on April 17 at 9 am.
“No such press release has been issued by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar. It is hereby notified that this press release is fake,” the board said.
“The press release of when the results of the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination Standard-12 (Science Stream) and GUJCET-2025 examination held in March-2025 will be officially declared by the board will be published on the board's website gseb.org,” it said.
Earlier, an unofficial GUJCET website claimed that the results for the engineering entrance exam will be declared on April 9 at 10 am. However, there was no official confirmation on it.
GSEB HSC results 2025 or Gujarat Board Class 12 results for the science stream will be given 50% weightage for engineering admission in government, govt-aided, and unaided engineering colleges in Gujarat. The GUJCET scores will get the remaining 50% weightage.
As per the previous years’ trends, the GUJCET results 2025 are expected to be declared by the end of this month on the official website, gsebeservice.com.
