Hansraj College Recruitment 2026: Apply for JRF, project associate posts under ANRF project; eligibility

Applicants who will get selected for the position of JRF, Project Associate-I position will get a fellowship from Rs 30,000 to Rs 37,000 per month plus HRA
Hansraj College, University of Delhi, has opened the application process for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Associate-I under an Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF)-funded research project. As per the notification, the recruitment is for one vacancy.
The research project name is "Artificial Intelligence guided design and validation of antiviral peptides against economically important tomato leaf curl Palampur and cucumber mosaic viruses." The aim of the project is to develop AI-driven solutions to approach vital viral diseases affecting agricultural crops.
Aspirants who are interested and eligible to apply can submit their application form by August 5, 2026. Applicants are informed that the duration of the project is three years, even though the advertised position will be offered for two years only.

HRC JRF/Project Associate-I Recruitment 2026: How to apply
Candidates need to submit the application form, along with the following documents:
(a) Self-Attested Copies of all the Certificates and Degrees
(b) Self-Attested Copies of the first page of the publication (if any)
Aspirants need to keep all these documents in a single PDF file and email it to pooja@hrc.du.ac.in with the subject mentioned in the mail, "Application for position in ANRF Project."
Applicants who are shortlisted will be called for interviews. No TA/DA will be given, and the appointment will be temporary and co-terminus with the project.
HRC Recruitment 2026: Eligibility criteria and salary
Applicants who are applying for the position of JRF must have a postgraduate degree in Bioinformatics or Computer Science, or a graduate/postgraduate degree in a professional course along with a valid CSIR-UGC NET or GATE score. Selected candidates will get a fellowship of Rs 37,000 per month plus HRA.

Applicants applying for Project Associate-I position should have a four-year bachelor's degree in natural sciences, agriculture, computer science, mathematical or physical sciences, or a master's degree in natural or agricultural sciences, BVSc, Pharmacy, Engineering, or Medicine from a recognised university. Eligible aspirants will receive either Rs 37,000 plus HRA or Rs 30,000 plus HRA.
Aspirants who have an experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and programming in Python or R on Linux will be given preference. The upper age limit is 28 years.
