NEW DELHI: Haryana School Education Board will be conducting the secondary and higher secondary compartment, re-exam, improvement exams from October 19 to November 8. A total of 94,708 students will be appealing at 109 exam centres, the HSEB, chairman VP Yadav said.

Haryana Board Class 10 and 12 “compartment re-appear, CTP, additional subjects and supplementary examinations of marks improvement subjects of Haryana School Education Board will be conducted from tomorrow till 08 November,” the board said. As per the exam timings, the board will conduct the exams from 2 PM to 5 PM.

Of the total students who will be appearing in the exam, 59,170 are boys, 35,535 are girls, and 3 transgenders.

He said that in the Secondary or Class 10 examination, 18,989 candidates will appear, which includes 10,972 boys, 8,016 girls and 1 transgender. In the Senior Secondary or Class 12 examination, 14,585 candidates will appear, which include 10,315 boys, 4,269 girls and 1 transgender.

Similarly, in the Class 10 open school exam, 28,787 candidates will appear. In which 17,196 are boys, 11,590 girls and 1 transgender will appear and in the Class 12 open school examination, 32,347 will appear, including 20,687 boys and 11,660 girls.

HSEB chairman said that the Board has constituted 26 effective flying squads for surprise inspection of the examination centers and one invigilator has been appointed at all the examination centres.

To curb use of malpractices and maintain law and order, Section 144 has also been imposed around all the examination centres, he said.

The Board secretary Jyoti Mittal said that roll numbers have been issued to all the eligible candidates. Students have been asked to take a colored printout of their admit card on A-4 size paper and paste the same colored photo on the admit card which was uploaded at the time of filling the application form and get it certified by the principal of any government/non-government recognized school or any gazetted officer.

Students without the admit card and original Aadhaar card will not be allowed entry into the examination hall. They will have to arrive at the exam hall 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

It is mandatory to have the signatures of the student and invigilator as per the date on the admit card, hence candidates should not get the admit card laminated.

Use of electronic items like mobile, calculator, smart watch etc. are prohibited inside the examination centre. “If any student is found involved in cheating, strict action will be taken against him as per rules,” the board said.
