HCL Technologies organizes second edition of “The Grand Quest 2019”

NEW DELHI, MARCH 19: HCL Technologies organized the second edition of “The Grand Quest 2019” – City’s Biggest Hunt for Talent in Lucknow recently. The grand quest is a platform for the youth of the city to come forward, participate and showcase their technical acumen, communication skills and confidence. HCL, being one of the biggest talent recruiters in the city of Lucknow, has taken this initiative to unearth hidden talent and bring their brilliance to the forefront.

As part of this talent hunt, a team of experts from HCL Lucknow visited over 50 colleges in the city including both Engineering and Non-Engineering Colleges over last 45 days.

The Grand Quest received overwhelming 6000+ registrations in the first round. Approximately 4000+ students appeared for level one where the selection was done at respective colleges. Students who cleared the first round were invited for second and final round of competitions at HCL IT City Campus in Lucknow.

The second and third round of competition included activities like Code Writing, Quiz Competition, Creative Writing and Debate Competition. Each stage witnessed enthusiastic participation and elimination of candidates across multiple levels.

In addition to this, Babu Banarasi Das Group of Colleges received the award for best college for most participation of students. And TPO Manish Sharma from Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering and Management and TPO Shalini Sharma from National PG college also received felicitation for encouraging participation of students in their respective colleges.
