NEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 4: MHRD Minister Prakash Javedkar in a tweet has released the details of the funding for seven new AIIMs by the HEFA Board. A total of Rs 9403.48 crores have been reportedly approved by the board to fund these AIIMs. The minister also released the details of the individual funding that has been approved by the board for six of these AIIMS

The details of the funds for each individual AIIMS are as follows
1. Bhatinda - Rs 925 cr
2. Mangalagiri, Guntur, AP - Rs 1618 cr
3. Nagpur - Rs 1576.81 cr
4. Gorakhpur - Rs 1011 cr
5. Kalyani - WB - Rs 1781.34 cr
6. Guwahati - Rs 1123 cr
In addition, the minister also mentioned that’s the HEFA Board has approved the release of first tranche of Rs 525 cr each for the above mentioned AIIMs.
