Haryana Public Service Commission has postponed the written exams of HPSC HCS 2021 due to COVID-19.

NEW DELHI: The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has postponed the Haryana Civil Services (HCS) due to rise in COVID-19 cases across the country. The Commission has taken this decision to postpone the HPSC exam 2021 that is scheduled to be conducted on May 21, 22 and 20, 2021 due to the second wave of coronavirus which is spreading rapidly in the state. The exam authority has released the notification on the official website - hpsc.gov.in.
As per the HPSC 2021 notification, “The HPSC HCS 2021 exam is deferred till further notice considering the novel coronavirus (COVID-l9) cases, health consideration & lockdown restrictions. The new exam dates will be announced later.” Candidates are advised to keep track of the official website for the new dates.

As per the HPSC selection procedure, students need to appear in three phases of the HPSC recruitment exam - prelims, mains and interview round - to get shortlisted for the final allotment. It is important for students to achieve minimum qualifying marks in order to pass the HPSC HCS exam at each level.
The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) conducts the exams to recruit the government personnel for the different departments in state government. The exams are held once a year and are based on the number of vacancies. Students willing to appear in the HPSC exam should check the HPSC eligibility criteria before applying.
