NEW DELHI, JANUARY 5: The exam of HTET 2018 has begun on January 5 for three levels - level I, II, and III. HTET exam for Level I is being held on January 5 while the test for Level II and III is being held on January 6. Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) is conducting the HTET 2018 in offline mode at various centres in the districts of the state. The exam is being conducted for the recruitment of candidates as teachers in classes 1 to 12. Level I is being conducted for those who wish to become teachers in classes 1 to 5, level 2 is for those who wish to become teachers from classes 6 to 8 while level III is for those who wish to become teachers in classes 9 to 12.

Only those candidates have been allowed to take test who have brought their HTET admit card along with one of the prescribed photo ID proofs - Voter ID card, Aadhaar card, Driving License, Passport, PAN card at the allotted exam centres. Candidates who do not have their admit card are not being allowed to enter the examination hall.

The exam will continue for 2 hours 30 minutes during which candidates have to answer questions of 150 marks. Candidates are being tested on their knowledge of Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics, Environmental Science and command over English/Hindi Language.

All those candidates who score the minimum qualifying marks - 90 out of 150 ( for general candidates), 83 (for reserved category of Haryana) and 90 marks for (the reserves category of other states) will be considered HTET qualified.
