NEW DELHI: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has started the registration process for Agniveervayu recruitment on the official website, agnipathvayu.cdac.in. candidates will be able to fill IAF Agniveervayu application form till February 6 and the recruitment exam will be held on March 17. Candidates applying for the exam should be born between January 2, 2004, and July 2, 2007.
The IAF said, In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the selection procedure, then the upper age limit as on date of enrolment should be 21 years. Candidates applying for the IAF Agniveervayu recruitment should any of the following educational qualification:
Candidates should have passed intermediate or Class 12 equivalent examination with maths, physics and english from a recognised boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English
The applicant should have a three-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Automobile or Computer Science or Instrumentation Technology or Information Technology) with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Diploma Course or in intermediate or Class 10
Candidates should have passed a two-year vocational course with non-vocational subject namely physics and maths from a recognised board with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the course.
Students should have secured 50% marks in English, if it is not a subject in the diploma or vocational courses.
Candidates who have passed Intermediate and Class 12 in any stream from a recogmnised education board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English can also apply. Candidates with two-year vocational course with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English can also apply.
Candidates clearing the written exam will have to go through a medical exam. They will have to meet the following requirement:
Height: For Male candidates should be at least 152.5 cm tall and female applicantc should be 152 cm. For candidates belonging to North East or hilly regions of Uttarakhand, the minimum height will be 147 cm. In case of candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum height requirement is 150 cm.
Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
Chest dimension: For male candidates, the minimum chest circumference should be 77 cm and the chest expansion should be atleast 5 cm. For Female candidates, the chest wall should be well proportioned and well developed with the minimum range of expansion of 5 cm.
Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meter by each ear separately.
Dental: Should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.

Eye sight: Visual Acuity should 6/12 each eye and correctable to 6/6. Maximum limits of Refractive error for hypermetropia is +2.0D and myopia is 1D, including ± 0.50 D astigmatism for the conditions.
Selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs 30,000 per month of which Rs 21,000 will be in hand. A sum of 9,000 will go the Agniveer corpus. The government will add the same amount to Agniveer corpus. In the second year, the salary will rise to 33,000. In the third and fourth year the salary will increase to 36,500 and 40,000. The contribution to agniveer corpus will increase to 9,900, 10,950 and 12,000 in second, third and fourth year. Under the Seva Nidhi package, Agniveervayu will get a sum of Rs 10.04 lakhs at the time of exit after four years.
