NEW DELHI: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has issued a notification for Agniveervayu recruitment 2025 3. As per the schedule, the IAF Agniveervayu 2025 application form-filling process will commence on January 7. Eligible candidates can register for IAF Agniveervayu recruitment 2025 through the official website, agnipathvayu.cdac.in.

The IAF Agniveervayu recruitment exam 2025 is scheduled to be held from March 22, 2025. Candidates will have to register for the IAF Agniveervayu recruitment 2025 by January 27, 2025. To register or the exam, candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs 550.

“Indian Air Force invites ONLINE applications from unmarried Indian male and female candidates for selection test from 22 March 2025 onwards to join the IAF as an AGNIVEERVAYU. The number and employability of female candidates will be decided as per service requirement,” the official notice read.

To be eligible for the exam, candidates must be born between January 1, 2005, and July 1, 2008, both dates inclusive. In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the selection procedure, then the upper age limit as on date of enrolment should be 21 years

IAF Agniveervayu Recruitment 2025: Educational qualification

Candidates can check the educational qualifications for both science and non-science subjects to be eligible for the IAF Agniveervayu recruitment exam 2025, as given below.

Science Subjects:

  • Candidates should have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English from education boards recognised by central, state, or union territories, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR

  • Candidates should have passed a three-year Diploma Course in Engineering from a Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the diploma course. OR

  • Candidates should have passed a two-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects like Physics and Mathematics with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the Vocational Course.

Other than Science subjects:

  • Candidates should have passed the Class 12 or its equivalent examination in any stream, or subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR

  • Candidates should have passed a two-year Vocational Course with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the Vocational Course.

The IAF Agniveervayu selection process includes of three phases. Phase 1 includes a computer-based test (CBT), Phase 2 involves a physical fitness test (PFT) along with adaptability tests 1 and 2, and Phase 3 comprises a medical examination. After the completion of all the selection processes, the IAF will publish a list of candidates finally called for enrolment in Agniveervayu Intake 01/2026 on December 1, 2025.
