NEW DELHI - The Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) will conduct the IBPS Clerk mains exam 2021 shortly. The exam will be conducted in two-shifts across various exam centres in India. The mains exam of IBPS Clerk will be followed by the final recruitment of the candidates. There is no interview stage in the IBPS Clerk recruitment. Candidates are advised to carry their IBPS Clerk admit card along with a valid photo ID to the exam centre. The photo ID can be anything like an Aadhar card, Voter ID card, Driving License etc in the original format.

IBPS Clerk Main 2021 -Don’ts -

Don't indulge in any unfair means of practice in the exam centre.

Don't carry any electronic device - smartphones, smartwatches, BlueTooth devices etc.

Don't argue with the exam centre officials.

Don't panic at the exam centre and get disturbed seeing the question paper.

Don't lose confidence.
It is also mandatory for candidates to adhere to the COVID-19 guidelines as circulated by the central and state governments. Due to the rise in the second wave of the novel coronavirus, candidates must show utter carefulness and wear a mask, carry a hand sanitiser, maintain social distancing and wash hands after returning from the exam centre.
IBPS Clerk is conducted in two phases - preliminary and mains. Both phases have questions that are objective type in nature. The subjects in the mains exam will be General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude and Quantitative Aptitude.
There is also negative marking in the IBPS Clerk mains exam, hence candidates must make sure that they answer the questions carefully.
IBPS is conducting the mains exam for the post of Clerks in various government banks in India, candidates who qualified in the prelims exam which was conducted from November 13 to December 13, 2020, can appear for the mains.
What next?
IBPS will release Clerk mains result and cut off on the official website. Candidates who qualify as per the mains exam will be recruited at the vacant posts.
