NEW DELHI: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has conducted the IBPS RRB 2020 Prelims examination on September 12 and 13, 2020. Most of the candidates who appeared for the IBPS RRB prelims exam for Officer Scale 1, they found the questions relatively easy and the exam was conducted in a glitch-free manner. According to the experts, if the students were able to answer correctly more than 60 questions, then they would be able to get a call for the mains exam. Student Reactions
Candidates had to attempt 80 questions in 45 minutes for the IBPS RRB Prelims exam. A student who appeared for the exam at a centre in Varanasi told - “The Quantitative Aptitude section was easy, most of my time was consumed in the Reasoning section. There were questions from Simplification, Coordinative equation, Distance, Puzzles. No questions were asked from blood relations topic.”
Another student said “The paper was of moderate difficulty level. There were 5 questions from Puzzles in the exam from linear based, floor and uncertain numbers. Two questions from direction and distance topics and five questions from Blood Relations were asked in the exam. The exam was a bit difficult but the main concern was time management. I attempted total 58 questions.”
IBPS RRB 2020 Prelims Exam Analysis - September 12 and 13
The IBPS RRB 2020 Prelims exam was of easy to moderate difficulty level. However, the exam was a bit difficult compared to the same exam held in 2019. The Quantitative Aptitude questions were mainly easy but tricky. Reasoning section consumed the most time from the 45 minutes given to candidates. The exam is scheduled to be held over 5 days. Next, the IBPS RRB Prelims exam will be held on September 19, 20 and 26, 2020.
About IBPS RRB exam
IBPS RRB exam is conducted every for recruitment in Assistant and Office Cade posts at different Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) spread across the country. The exam is conducted in two phases - Preliminary and Mains exams. Selection is made on the marks obtained by the students and there is no interview process.
