IBPS RRB Office Assistant Prelims 2020 concludes, candidates say exam easy to moderate
NEW DELHI: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has successfully concluded the IBPS RRB Office Assistant exam on September 19 and 20. Students who appeared for the exam rated it as easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level. The exam was conducted in online mode across various exam centres in the country. Amid the coronavirus scare, the exam was conducted keeping in mind social distancing norms and standard operating procedure for the pandemic.
IBPS RRB Office Assistant Exam Analysis - September 19 and 20
The IBPS RRB Office Assistant comprised of total 2 sections with 40 questions each. Candidates were given a composite time of 45 minutes to attempt these 80 questions. As per students who appeared for the exam, the exam had easy to moderate difficulty level questions. The section wise exam analysis of the IBPS RRB Office Assistant exam has been given below;
According to the students who appeared for the exam, there were total 10 questions from Data Interpretation (DI) topic. The Simplification topic had 10 questions which were easy in nature. Individual questions in this section were based on topics like Simple interest, Ages, Time and Distance, Problems on Trains, Time and Work, Averages, Profit and Loss, Mixtures & Alligations, Partnership and Mensuration.
This section has been rated easy by students who attempted the exam. As per the students the questions were very easy in nature and if the time management skills of the candidate were good, they could easily score good marks in this section. There were 15 questions on Puzzles (Square Arrangement (Corners- Away from the centre, Middle -faces the centre), Floor Arrangement (7 persons and 7 floors) and 2 rows arrangement (5 persons each). Questions based on Puzzles topic can be said to be difficult in nature. Questions on Symbols Notations (Inequalities), Deductions (Syllogisms), Blood Relations, Set of Words and Sequence based questions were easy to crack.
IBPS RRB Office Assistant Prelims exam will further be conducted on September 26 which will officially be the last prelims exam of this session.

The IBPS RRB exam conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is national level exam conducted for recruitment of Scale 1 officers and office assistants in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) in different parts of the country. The exam is conducted in online mode. There are 2 stages of the exam - IPBS RRB Prelims exam and IBPS RRB Mains exam.
