ICAI announces campus placement schedule for CA final Jan-Feb 2021 candidates

NEW DELHI: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has released a notification regarding the ICAI Campus placement 2021 for candidates that have passed CA final examinations in January/ February 2021 session. The CA Campus placement registration begins on April 8, 2021, and the last date for registration will be April 13, 2021. The institute has mentioned that no further extension in dates will be possible.

To sit for this CA campus placement drive, candidates must comply with the ICAI campus placement eligibility conditions mentioned below.

CA Campus placement 2021 eligibility

Candidates whose articleship gets completed after June 30, 2021, are advised to wait for the next campus placement drive.

“ICAI Candidates may opt for one bigger (Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi & Pune) and one smaller centre (Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Durgapur, Ernakulam, Indore, Kanpur, Nagpur, Noida, Rajkot, Thane & Visakhapatnam). For candidates opting only for smaller centres, registration will remain open till 13th May’21”, reads ICAI notification

Campus Interview Schedule

The interview timings will mostly be between 9 AM to 6 PM. The CA Interviews will be conducted through virtual mode by all the participating companies. The roster for the same will be prepared by the ICAI authorities and will be available on the ICAI placement portal at 7 AM on the respective interview date.

It should be noted that database sharing for companies registered at Mumbai, New Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Pune will begin on April 17, 2021. For companies registered at Durgapur, Ernakulam, Kanpur, Nagpur, Rajkot, Visakhapatnam, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Indore, Noida & Thane, the sharing of the database will begin on April 18, 2021.

ICAI Campus placement 2021: Orientation Programme schedule (Tentative)

The mock interview for ICAI Campus placement programme at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Durgapur, Ernakulam, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Noida, Pune, Rajkot, Thane and Visakhapatnam centres is scheduled between April 26 and April 28, 2021.

Candidates appearing in the ICAI 2021 campus placement programme are advised to secure ICAI membership immediately after passing CA final examination but before July 15, 2021.

Candidates who have undergone the written/ psychometric test or the interview will receive their shortlisting status under their candidate’s login at the ICAI placement portal- cmib.icai.org. Participating candidates should keep checking their ICAI campus placement login regularly for updates.
