ICAI declares CA Final and CA Foundation result for May 2019 session

NEW DELHI, AUGUST 13- The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared the result of CA Final and Foundation examination on August 13. The institute has also released the merit list containing top 50 rank holders. Candidates who appeared for May 2019 session exams can check their result online. Candidates are required to login through their CA Final roll number along with the registration number or PIN. They can also access the result through SMS and could even request to receive result on their registered email ID. The result can be accessed at the websites provided below:

  • icaiexam.icai.org

  • caresults.icai.org

  • icai.nic.in

Steps to check CA result:

  1. Visit the official website of ICAI icaiexam.icai.org

  2. Type in your CA Final or CA Foundation roll number and registration number or PIN.

  3. Enter the captcha code.

  4. Click on ‘Check Result’.

  5. Your ICAI CA Final/ Foundation result 2019 will be displayed on the screen.

The result page shows marks obtained in individual papers, group (in case of CA Final old and new syllabus) and the overall aggregate. Candidates can download the same and keep 2-3 prints for future reference.

For receiving result via mail, candidates have the option of request to register available from August 10. Those who followed the same are receiving their CA Final result after declaration. To check the result vial SMS, candidates have to compose a text message and send the same to 58888 as provided below:

  • For CA Final Old Syllabus- “CAFNLOLD(space) 6 digit CA Final roll number of the candidate”

  • For CA Final New Syllabus- “CAFNLNEW(space) 6 digit CA Final roll number of the candidate”

  • For CA Foundation- “CAFND(Space) 6 digit CA Foundation roll number of the candidate”

Candidates need to pass each paper with at least 40% marks, each group with at least 50% marks (only for CA Final) and at least 50% overall aggregate in order to pass the program. The next session for CA Final and Foundation will be conducted in November 2019.

Candidates can also check their merit list online by entering their roll number in the log in window.
