ICMAI opens application window for students already registered for one group

NEW DELHI: The Institute of Cost Accountants in India has reopened the application window for candidates who have already registered for one group of any of the CMA July 2020 examinations. The application window has been opened so that the candidates who opted for one group only but now are willing to appear for both the groups due to the postponement of the exam can make the required changes in the application form.

Due to exemption in training requirements for students appearing for the June 2020 term of examinations, many students wanted to opt for both the groups. If any student has already applied for one group but likes to appear for another group may send duly filled in hard copy of application form along with examination fees by Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘The Institute of Cost Accountants of India’ payable at Kolkata.

A hard copy of the earlier application form already submitted online is also to be enclosed and posted by speed post /courier to the Directorate of Examination, CMA Bhawan, 12 Sudder Street, Kolkata - 700016. Candidates must make sure that the hard copy along with the demand draft is sent to the authorities before May 31, 2020. An advance copy of this application may be mailed to exam.helpdesk@icmai.in.

Earlier, ICMAI had postponed the CMA June 2020 examinations due to the COVID-19 pandemic spread in the country and the subsequent lockdown situations. The exams have now been scheduled to begin from July 20, 2020.
