IGNOU July fresh admission 2024 registration extended again for ODL, online programmes

NEW DELHI: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the registration last date for fresh admission into programmes offered through online and Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode to September 10. The IGNOU July admission 2024 deadline, however, has not been extended for certificate and semester-based programmes. Interested candidates will have to register through the IGNOU official website, ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

While filling the IGNOU application form 2024, candidates are required to enter their name and other details as given in the educational documents. Applicants will be able to login into the IGNOU admission portal using their registered email address only. Therefore, the university has instructed candidates to use their own active email address.

IGNOU has been ranked number 1 under the newly introduced open university category in the ministry of education’s National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF 2024).

How to register for IGNOU July admission 2024

Candidates can follow the instructions given below to fill in the IGNOU July application form 2024.

• Visit IGNOU official website, ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
• On the homepage, find the ‘Click here for new registration’ link.
• Start by choosing a username. It should be between 8 to 16 characters.
• Now, enter your full name as given in the educational documents, email address.
• Create an alphanumeric password with wordcount between 8 to 16 characters.
• Enter your 10-digit mobile number and captcha verification code as displayed on the screen.
• Choose the courses applying for and make the fee payment.
• Review all details entered in the application form and download the confirmation page.
