NEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 4: Indian Institute of Foreign Trade has informed that the registration fees for the IIFT entrance exam has increased for candidates belonging to different categories. Moreover, it is for the first time that the National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the IIFT 2020 entrance exam in computer-based mode (CBT) on December 1,2019. The fee for the application form of IIFT 2020 for candidates belonging to different categories is given below in the table:

Previously the fee for the general category was Rs 1650 and those who belonged to SC,ST or PH category, they had to pay Rs 825 as the registration fee for the entrance exam.

Mode of Fee Payment

Candidates can pay the fee through any one of the following modes of payment:

  • Debit/ Credit Card

  • Net banking

  • PAYTM

  • UPI services

NTA To Begin the Registration Process on its Site

The registration process for IIFT entrance exam will take place on its website from September 9. The authorities have announced that other details will be released along with the application form of IIFT 2020.

Increase in Number of Test Cities

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has announced that there has been an increase in the number of test cities where NTA will conduct the entrance exam. Previously IIFT had conducted the entrance test in offline mode in 20 cities while as per IIFT now, the exam will be held in 89 different cities of India.

Candidates will have the option to choose at least four cities according to their preference and convenience while filling out the application form of IIFT 2020.

Exam Pattern of IIFT 2020

The sections from which the questions will be asked in the IIFT entrance exam are:

  • English Grammar

  • Vocabulary and Comprehension

  • General Knowledge and Current Affairs

  • Logical reasoning

  • Data Interpretation

  • Quantitative Analysis

About IIFT 2020

The past few years have seen an increase in the number of candidates who are applying for the entrance exam of IIFT. It is likely that approximately 75,000 candidates will register for the entrance exam as they aspire to pursue MBA (IB) 2020-22 programme. IIFT 2020 result will be announced on December 11.
