NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 23: Indian Institute of Foreign trade has released the list of 2803 candidates who have been shortlisted for the second round of admission process for MBA (IB). Along with the names of the candidates who have been shortlisted, IIFT has also released the category wise cutoff as well as the sectional cutoff.Also the institute has mentioned in the notification that for female candidates, who have cleared all the sectional cut-offs, the minimum marks have been lowered down by 2%. Result for IIFT 2020 was declared on December 13, 2019.

IIFT Selection Procedure

Candidates whose names are shortlisted will have to appear for the following stages of selection criteria for final admission to IIFT:

  • Essay Writing- For this round candidates will be given 20 minutes to write an essay in a word limit of 300 words. This round analyzes the candidate’s writing skill and conceptual knowledge

  • Group Discussion (GD)- This round analyses student’s general awareness related to business and recent trends.

  • Personal Interview (PI)- In this round candidate’s personality is assessed by the panel.
