IIIT Bangalore RISE symposium will bring together students, academicians and corporate leaders

NEW DELHI: The International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore (IIIT Bangalore) is set to conduct its annual conference titled Research, Innovation, Society and Entrepreneurship (RISE) from February 17 to 19 in virtual mode. The RISE symposium will bring together students, academicians and corporate leaders with the objective to influence collaborations in research, innovation, society and entrepreneurship.

According to a statement from IIIT Bangalore, the first day of the three-day programme will witness a research colloquium by IIIT Bangalore PhD and master of science scholars where they will present innovations related to their research. This will be followed by a technology fest on the second day which will include competitions such as debates, crypto-combat and code-questand. The winners of the ByteSynergy Hackathon will also be honoured during the event. There will also be panel discussions on the topics Tech for remote education, Navigating a career in tech and Data localization and its effect on businesses.’
The last day of the RISE symposium will host an ‘Open House’ programme where corporate leaders and registered participants will interact with the faculty of IIIT Bangalore regarding research and collaboration opportunities, said the statement.
