IIM Ahmedabad increases fees for PGP in management

NEW DELHI, MARCH 19: The governing council of Indian Institute of Management (Ahmedabad) took the decision to increase the fees for the post-graduate programme in management by at least 4.3%. The new fees will be applicable to the batch of 2019-2021. Now the candidates will have to pay Rs 23 lakh as the course fees. Previously the fee for the PGP programme was Rs 22 lakh.

Recently, IIM Ahmedabad awarded MBA degree to the batch of 2017-2019 for the first time. Candidates who completed their two-year post-graduate programme in food and agribusiness management (PGP-FABM) and PGP-executive (PGPX), they were awarded MBA degree.

Students have hailed the move to get a degree as it will widen their horizon if they want to pursue academics from abroad. The degree will have a wider recognition in the international arena.

IIM Ahmedabad will first shortlist candidates for the next round of selection on the basis of their score in Common Admission Test (CAT 2019). The shortlisted candidates will then have to participate in the next round of selection which is group discussion and interview.
