IIM Calcutta, Emeritus to launch advanced programme in strategic project management

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta partners with Emeritus to launch the Advanced Programme in Strategic Project Management. This programme aims to equip project managers with essential skills and effective tools and methodologies to navigate the complexities of modern projects. The programme will begin on March 30.

According to the official press release, this programme is designed for mid and senior-level executives aiming to spearhead strategic initiatives with a project-oriented approach. Additionally, it is also beneficial for individuals with direct or indirect experience working on projects, aiming to transition between project management domains or prepare for more challenging roles in Strategic Project Management.

To be eligible for this programme, the candidates should have a degree or diploma from a university approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or the University Grants Commission (UGC) with a minimum of nine years of work experience and a minimum of 50% in graduation or postgraduation.

As per the official press release, the duration of this programme is nine months with a programme fee of Rs 3,87,000. The programme aims to bridge the gap by providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of strategic project management principles. The programme combines theoretical knowledge with practical applications through live online sessions, case studies, simulations, and in-campus immersions.
