NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 21: Joining top 5% B-schools to be accreditated by Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore proves its mettle in providing high standards of management education. IIM Indore is now among the only 10 B-Schools in India, and 3rd IIM in the country to receive AACSB accreditation.

AACSB is two of the prestigious international accreditations for management education along with EQUIS. Founded in 1916, it is the longest-serving global accrediting body for business schools. It provides a framework of 15 international standards against which business schools around the world are assessed on the quality of their educational services.

“IIM Indore is delighted to be a part of the coveted group of institutions accredited by AACSB, and this is a result of our sustained effort to be a contextually relevant and socially conscious world-class institution. I am particularly grateful to the AACSB peer-review team, which helped us to better streamline our systems with their insightful feedback. We will continue to improve in everything that we do,” said Prof. Himanshu Rai, director of the Indian Institute of Management Indore.

“We congratulate IIM Indore and director Prof. Himanshu Rai on earning accreditation, and applaud the entire IIM Indore team—including the administration, visitors, faculty, staff, and students—for their roles in earning this respected honour," said Stephanie M. Bryant, executive vice president and chief accreditation officer of AACSB International. She added, "IIM Indore’s commitment to earning accreditation is a true reflection of their dedication—not only to their students, alumni network, and greater business community but to the higher education industry as a whole."

AACSB accreditation recognizes institutions that have demonstrated a focus on excellence in all areas, including teaching, research, curricula development, and student learning.
