NEW DELHI: Three more Indian B-Schools have earned AACSB accreditation in business. ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad; Indian Institute of Management Lucknow; and Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development earned the international accreditation, AACSB International announced on Wednesday, February 13.
The other Indian B-Schools with AACSB accreditation are: IFIM Business School, Indian Institutes of Management (Calcutta, Indore, Udaipur), Indian School of Business, Hyderabad; IMT Ghaziabad, S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, School of Business Management, SVKM’s NMIMS University; T. A. Pai Management Institute and XLRI Jamshedpur.
Founded in 1916, AACSB is the longest-serving global accrediting body for business schools. With the latest announcement, a total of 874 institutions across 56 countries and territories have earned AACSB accreditation in business.
“AACSB accreditation recognizes institutions that have demonstrated a focus on excellence in all areas, including teaching, research, curriculum development, and student learning,” said Stephanie M. Bryant, executive vice president and chief accreditation officer of AACSB.
“The commitment to earning accreditation is a true reflection of a school’s dedication—not only to their students, alumni network, and greater business community, but to the higher education industry as a whole,” she added.
