IIM Rohtak invites applications for PG programme in sports management; Apply at iimrohtak.ac.in

IIM Rohtak has invited applications for the course till July 18, 2023. Candidates with a bachelor's degree in any discipline are eligible to apply.
NEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak has invited applications for the post graduate diploma in sports management (PGDSM) programme. A statement from the institute said that the application process has begun on April 18 and candidates desirous of registering for the same will have to log on to iimrohtak.ac.in.

The deadline to apply for the programme is July 18, 2023. Candidates holding a bachelor's degree in any discipline are eligible to apply for the postgraduate diploma course. The duration of the course is two years.
Selection process for the PGDSM course involves an online sports assessment aptitude test, followed by a personal interview round. The institute said that once the candidates pursue the PGDSM programme successfully, they will also have the opportunity to pursue Masters in sports management (MSc) course from Ulster University in the United Kingdom (UK).
Experts in the sports field such as Ayaz Memon, Neeraj Kumar, Jeev Milkha Singh, Rishi Narain and Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi are the academic advisors for the programme, who will provide guidance to the candidates enrolled for the course, the institute said.
The press release issued by IIM Rohtak stated that the institute is the first one to have introduced the post graduate diploma programme in the discipline, where students will have a variety of career options to choose from, such as sports event manager, sports marketing manager, sports agents, sports talent managers, sports analysts, media and communication managers, among others available in the Indian sports industry today.
