NEW DELHI: Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has signed an agreement with the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) to collaborate on applied research. This is the first corporate social responsibility (CSR) agreement of IAI. As per the agreement, IAI will collaborate on projects, training, and research consultancy with IIT Delhi.

The alliance has been developed with a shared vision for leveraging cutting-edge research to drive progress and technological excellence in the technology sector. The IAI works in defence and commercial aerospace. It also provides its customers with state-of-the-art systems for air, ground, sea, space and cyberspace applications.

IAI promotes its technological leadership through applied research in cutting-edge core technologies and hybrid open innovation in collaboration with its surrounding business environment, including universities, start-up companies and government research and development entities.

IAI CEO Boaz Levy said, “We are proud to come together with IIT Delhi, which is renowned for its engineering and technology programs.
