IIT Madras 2019 M.Tech admission commences; Know how to apply here

NEW DELHI, MARCH 6: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has started the application process for admission to various engineering postgraduate programmes offered by it. The application form is available in online mode from March 6  to April 10 for all eligible candidates. However, before proceeding towards filling the application form, candidates are suggested to refer and meet the prescribed eligibility criteria.

All the candidates who wish to apply for M.Tech admission at IIT Madras must know that they will have to fill application form along with registering at GATE COAP 2019.

Selection Process

Admission to candidates (who are not required to take Suitability Test/ Interview) will be finalized strictly in the order of merit as per the GATE Score (CGPA & Department Review for IIT Graduates) and on the basis of choices given by them in the application.

GATE Scores Accepted

In case candidates are applying based on the GATE scores, only GATE 2019, 2018 and 2017 scores are accepted.

• Register and fill the application form where they need to enter personal, academic and contact information.
• Upload the scanned images of required documents as per the prescribed format and dimension.
• Pay the application fee in an online mode.

Other dates to remember

IIT Madras offers admission to 12 M.Tech programmes along with 3 interdisciplinary M.Tech courses. All the candidates who will be shortlisted and allotted seats will have to confirm their admission by paying the required admission fees.
