Indian Air Force launches 'My IAF' App for aspirants

NEW DELHI - Indian Air Force (IAF) Chief Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria launched the 'My IAF' mobile app on Monday. The My IAF app was launched by Air Chief Marshal at Air HQ's Vayu Bhawan, New Delhi as a part of the 'Digital India' initiative on August 24, 2020. The app will provide career-related information to all those aspirants who wish to join the Indian Air Force and make a career in it. The app is available on Google Play store for android users and is also directly linked to all the IAF's social media channels. Apart from the career-based information, the app will also showcase the grand history and stories of valour of the Indian Air Force.

Key highlights of the Indian Air Force's 'My IAF Mobile App'

• The 'My IAF' app is developed in association with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC).
• The app will provide important information and details related to career choices in the Indian Air Force.
• The app has a user-friendly interface which will help candidates in smooth navigation and provide an un-cluttered app using experience.
• My IAF app will have details like the selection procedure, training curriculum, pay and perks for both the officers and airmen in the Indian Air Force.
• The app will also take candidates to the social medial channels of IAF, Games and provide information related to the history of IAF.
• Through the My IAF app, candidates can also become Air Warriors.
• The app will also share information about Life in IAF, Ranks in IAF and Quizzes related to the Aircraft inventory where candidates can name the aircraft by seeing the image.

How to download My IAF app?

• Open Google Play Store in your smartphone
• In the search bar click on 'My IAF'
• Scroll down to find the 'My IAF' app which will have C-DAC ACTS Pune written below it
• The app is of 16MB and has 1k+ downloads
• Download the My IAF app
