NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 14: Indian Bank has declared Indian Bank PO result 2018 for the mains examination on December 14. The result has been declared only for those candidates who have taken the mains examination on November 4. Candidates can check the mains result at https://www.indianbank.in/career/. Candidates can check their Indian Bank PO result for mains in PDF format comprising of the roll numbers of the qualified candidates. A total of 1500 candidates have been qualified for Interview process.

The exam conducting authority has released the category-wise and test-wise Indian Bank PO cutoff for mains exam. Only those candidates who have qualified the mains exam are called for interview. Indian Bank will prepare a final merit list for all the qualified candidates. It must be noted that the score card of the candidates will also be available by December 18 on the official website. Candidates will be selected for admission to postgraduate diploma in Banking & Finance at the Indian Bank Manipal School of Banking based on their rank and preference.

After qualifying the mains examination, shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview to be conducted by the Bank. The interview is scheduled to be held from December 27, 2018 to January 2, 2019. The information in this regard will be given to the candidates through their registered email ID and mobile number. To appear in the interview, the candidates have to download the call letters from December 18 and appear for the interview at the designated centres.

At the time of the interview, candidates have to produce original copies of all prescribed documents mentioned in the call letter. In the interview, general category candidates have to secure at least 40 percent marks, while SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates have to obtain a minimum of 35 percent marks to be considered qualified.

The combined final score will be calculated based on the scores in the mains examination and Interview. For the selection, the authority gives 80 percent weightage to the marks of mains examination and 20 percent weightage to the interview marks.

Indian Bank conducts Indian Bank PO for the recruitment of Probationary Officers at its different branches. For the recruitment year 2018-19, the bank has announced a total of 433 PO vacancies.
